The latest release of the pSPT, 3.2RC1, now features a method to install 
directly to the hard drive.  This is accomplished with a netinstall CD 
instead of the live CD:

This is a beta release still, and as such we would like your feedback if 
you find problems in the process.  Note that the netinstall disk will 
format the hard disk on the target machine.
