I spoke too soon. The NIC card drivers don't appear to have loaded. The machine doesn't get an IP through DHCP. When hardcoded it still isn't on the network because it can't ping or be pinged on machine on the same subnet. When I take a physical peak at the nic card there are no lights flashing. That indicates the Live CD didn't load the driver.

If I boot the machine from the hard drive, without the live CD, it pulls an ip just fine and is on the network.

Any ideas?

The nic in the machine is a Broadcom NetXtreme Family of Adapter.

Could you try the following ISO and see if it fixes the issue you're seeing?

Hi Joel;

Copying the Performance node users group as well (more specific than all of perfSONAR). If you would to join, a subscription to the list is here:

https://mail.internet2.edu/wws/subrequest/performance-node-users

I have started an open issue for this bug as well.

Thanks for the report.

I've not seen this error before, does it list a line # with the error message?
Cheers,
Aaron

Hi-
I'm attempting to install perfSONAR live CD on a Dell PowerEdge 2650 that is configured with RAID 1 hard drives. When I choose 1. Configure drive to hold data/customizations I get the following error.
type-error: iteration over non-sequence
setting reboot flag.
The hard drives are formatted with ext3 and have debian installed.
Do you guys have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
