Ahaa ;)

If you just go through the installation process of rrd ma and keep an 
eye on what the installer script is telling you, it will give you the 
exact value that you need to put in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Keep a second terminal open so that you can copy the path into the 
bash_profile and restart tomcat from there..
