But could not find explanation or clue showing that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH was not set.

Anyway, I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to :/usr/lib/:/home/perfsonar/perfsonar-bundle-2.0-RC1/perfSONAR-RRD-MA-2.0/perfsonar/contrib/rrdjtool/build/
And this solved the problem.

I suggest to put this in the RRD-MA installation FAQ.
Hello Frederic,

Thanks for your feedback from the installation process.

In the 2.0 manual, there is a line (in bold) in the requirements section which says that LD_Library_path has to be set in the bash_profile specifically to avoid this problem. You can find it here:
http://wiki.perfsonar.net/jra1-wiki/index.php/PerfSONAR_v2.0#Manual_Installation_of_pre-requisites

Do you think it isn't clear enough?

We hope to expand the FAQ section soon.

Loukik.

Thanks to all again for your help and effort
