perfsonar development work

Hi Jason,

I am continuing Ivan's task at BREN, trying to install perfSONAR-BUOY MA
service.

At first I started with BWCTL MP and oppd using this reference:

BWCTL MP, from page 59.

The OS is Debian 4, set with this perfsonar repositories:

deb     http://downloads.perfsonar.eu/repositories/deb/  testing main
deb-src http://downloads.perfsonar.eu/repositories/deb/  testing main

So far no problems with the manual installation of bwctl-1.2a, and oppd,
 oppd-mp-bwctl and oppd-webadmin from the upper repository. The bwctld
daemon starts without any problems, as well as webadmin page at:
http://uran.acad.bg/geant2-perl-bwctl-mp (bwctl/nina)

oppd.pl can be started as explained in the testing instructions (8.2.6),
page 64 and get this in the log:

2009-04-26T22:40:44 notice OPPD.NOTICE% oppd service started
2009-04-26T22:40:44 notice OPPD.MP_BWCTL.NOTICE% No selftests specified
for MP/BWCTL.

Unfortunately the webadmin test page keeps showing test failed!:

Deployment test failed! The following error occured while trying to
start BWCTL MP daemon (oppd.pl):
---
In that case I am not confident if everything is OK in order to continue
with perfSONAR-BUOY MA service. Apart the /etc/init.d/oppd script looks
quite incompatible for our system.

It would be valuable if you have any ideas about this situation?
