Hi,

you can find in attachment the product roadmap for the release 3.1. The
release is planned in June. The document present the list of features
that are intended with a priority (sheet 3.1v2).

Release 3.1 consists mostly of
- a limited number feature enhancements
- Global LS (a transition stage until the dLS)
- the web-services checks

The line for BWCTL MP is emtpy. It's not clear to me, if the web-service checks should be implemented by all services.

Yes it should be.

It's also not included in the "Common features" section.

It is named: "2 Tier monitoring of services (service + resource) - specification".

It would be nice to be a little bit more explicit what each service has to do. An empty line suggests that there is nothing to do...

An empty line indicates that no new feature is expected with a hard deadline for the 3.1 release. (please note that there are "common features" that are required anyway).
This list is not exclusive of the feature appearing in the Priority Action Plan. They can make it into 3.1, but we might have difficulties for testing them.

It's also not clear what has to be done for "2 Tier monitoring"

This will mostly be about integration for the java services. More for you as you have to do a similar work than Luchesar for the syslogs.

Tomorrow afternoon and friday I'm probably not available due to a meeting in Paris. And after that, it's only two more weeks until the end of may, which makes it a little bit difficult to plan.

To be taken into consideration.

Nicolas

Regards,
Verena

How to understand the priority?
The High must be in the release. If you got development cycles left, you
can go for the medium then the low.

Hand-over date?
For the time being please assume that the hand-over date is end of May.
You will be contacted this week by the "coordinator" with whom you'll
identify a delivery date you think you can achieve. The Release team
will investigate on his side a release date based on project needs
(mostly LHC). From there we will converge on had-over date.

Best regards,
