updated
go back to:
- nmwg namespace for utilization datum element

The service supports both namespaces for utilization datum. To replace nmwg to netutil all is needed is simple change in the configuration file and service restart. I hope release 3.0 will be using netutil namespace but this will be clarified by the release team.

- supportedEventType parameter instead of eveneType element in metadata conf file
The service supports both in metadata elements with utilization eventType.

- two examleples of base chaining in utilization section added

So far example requests used for tests are located in the rrd ma directory but I agree with you (comment from previous email) that all examples should be in one svn location to be in sync. I will come back to this. One problem I see now is that the values in tags are prepared for my test rrd file and in case of general examples this might be different (the solution might be putting there also test rrd file and using tag values for this file)

Hi Roman,

I'm curious - are you rolling this completely back? Or do you now support both namespaces for utilization datum? (Supporting both seems to be the best way to nicely roll out new features like this, then dropping the nmwg one eventually. If you are not supporting both now, I suspect it will need to happen in the future. Otherwise you can't support clients during their upgrade path.)

I'm not saying you should do this now - I'm just wondering if you are? (So we can match what you are doing.)

thanks,
jeff
