Hi Verena,
thanks a lot for this list of points. Could you please identify who in your opinion should take part to those discussions and give an time estimate for them (e.g. for topic one : 2 hours, for topic two : 2 slot of 1 hours, etc).
This should help to schedule and organise the work.
Thanks,
Nicolas

Hi all,
Yes, it seems justified for the both of you to attend :-)
Could you please write down the list of topics you would wish to see
covered? (e.g. I don't see any reference to BWCTL on the agenda, I think
remembering there were some points to be covered there).
What I have on my personal agenda for the meeting (I need some time slots
for them also) are the following points:
1. Schema discussion for owping/hades/ippm (to be discussed with Jeff for
compatibility between Hades and AMI), maybe enhanced by schemas for
delay/packet loss/reordering in a more specific way. This may take some
time, as there are some more or less difficult details.
2. Same goes for bwctl/iperf schema.
3. Store trigger schema in on-demand measurement requests (must-have to
store BWCTL on-demand tests from MP to MA). This is somewhat problematic
for several reasons:
- It's not defined in a schema anywhere so far and there are more than
one (reasonable) ways to do it
- We really need AA there, as this functionality enables everyone who
triggers a BWCTL test to write data on the hard disks of the Hades
server.
- This functionality must be supported by perfSONAR UI, especially the AA
part.
It's important to have all these things ready as soon as possible,
otherwise it stops my perfSONAR service development for the LHC project.
So, I hope we have this complete at the end of the meeting week.
Kind regards,
Verena
