Ilias;
I'm trying to come up with a methodology for performance testing. So I have a question for the developers. Do you use anything (else than printf nd system.out) for profiling your services? Would you be interested to use anything like this?
This is because i have stumbled upon two interesting tools :
JRat:
I have used this before, it is easy to install and gives useful information. This would also be interesting from a web services point of view (although it is not really a profiler):

Lambda Probe (formerly Tomcat Probe) is a self sufficient web application, which helps to visualize various parameters of Apache Tomcat instance in real time. Lambda Probe is designed to work specifically with Tomcat so it is able to access far more information that is normally available to JMX agents.
