Hi,
during the last meeting in Cambridge (GN2 workshop) we decided to have two base products in SVN structure: one for client and one for services. Today I came back to this and started analyzing the sources. I came to conclusion that we have some classes that can be used either in clients or services so there was a problem which base I should use (we must remember that our structure must be clear and logical to new developers).
At the beginning I preferred to create additional base for service and clients (generic for both) but after the discussion with Loukik (release team) we decided to have just one base product in our SVN structure containing generic classes for clients and services. I believe it's a good approach at least for now. If we see the need to have more base products we will add them. But now developers would be happy for having clear and simple structure and the release team for limited number of products to manage.
Please, if you have different view on this and suggest something else, speak. I think by the end of this week the solution should be clear for all.
