Hi all,

 

One of the tasks of the Release Management team is to keep bugzilla up-to-date with product and version entries.

 

With this in mind, we are making sure that there is a bugzilla product, under the right classification, and that each product has its appropriate release versions updated.

When a new Release Candidate of a product is announced by a development team, we will create a new version of that product, and make sure the old RCs do disappear , if they exist and have no open bugs assigned to them.

We will be tracking the bugs that have been registered with older versions, making pressure on the development teams to handle them (hopefully solve them).

 

This way, we ask the development teams to update the status of open bugs when they announce new versions of their services.
