The result will be that www.perfsonar.net points to the formal web site, but URLs such as http://www.perfsonar.net/jra1-wiki/index.php/Main_Page continue to point to the wiki.
Now the "wiki.perfsonar.net" address works as well for wiki.
Maciej, what do you think about adding a redirect on your webserver to redirect anyone that asks for 'www' to 'wiki'? That would get people to immediately start seeing the right hostname for the wiki content.
I suggested the redirect that Eric sent out above as a temporary solution to make sure people who have bookmarked urls relative to the 'www' hostname will still be able to get to them.
Hi Jeff,
That's a good idea. I've already done it.
"www.perfsonar.net" and "perfsonar.net" are redirected now to "wiki.perfsonar.net"
Let me know when "www.perfsonar.net" will be on a separate server, so I'll remove configuration for virtual host and redirection for this domain then.
Maciej
