Hi all,

A minor update is out to fix an issue that was preventing CentOS 7 users from saving tests and updating administrative information through the toolkit web interface. CentOS 7.5 was released last week and with it a new perl-HTTP-Daemon library that didn't play nicely with some assumptions made by the process responsible for saving the aforementioned information (i.e. perfsonar-configdaemon).

A number of you reported the issue and were able to manually workaround it. The update removes the need for any manual steps. If you are running auto-updates you should get the new package in the next 24 hours. If not, you can run "yum update perfsonar-toolkit" to get the change. The version of the new package is 4.0.2.4 and only affects CentOS 7 boxes where the issue was observed. Thanks to those of you that reported this issue and please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
The perfSONAR Development Team
