ccing our colleagues at the Philadelphia Orchestra, who have recent experience
successfully negotiating performance rights with the orchestra's union, and
also colleagues at New World Symphony, who have netcast contemporary
composers' works. I am sure they will be able to add useful insight
here. All best. -- Ann Wondering what is the latest info on broadcasting over the
web/Internet2, as far as performing and composition rights are concerned. It seems
that this is still a “grey area” but I know that several
institutions regularly broadcast/webcast and have probably explored this
