The Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG) today approved the
publication of the One-Way Active Measurement Protocol (OWAMP) as a
standards-track RFC.

The RFC editor queue can take a few months.

The best approximation to how the RFC will look when it comes out is
<URL:http://www.internet2.edu/~shalunov/ippm/draft-ietf-ippm-owdp-16a.txt>.
One piece of information that is still unknown is the OWAMP-Control
well-known TCP port number, which will be assigned by IANA before
publication. Any implementors who wish to use the latest form of the
specification that will also be codified as a standard should now
start basing their work on draft-ietf-ippm-owdp-16a.txt.
