Forwarded below is an announcement for an upcoming workshop co-sponsored by Internet2, Microsoft, the University of Hawaii, University of Washington, and UC Davis on cyber-infrastructure for the physical sciences, focusing on earth, ocean, sky, and space research domains.

The event will also be an opportunity to discuss with colleagues the technical and infrastructure needs of 'big data' research and how Internet2 NET+ services can support this type of research.
