Yesterday's “Views” column in Inside Higher Ed by Lev S. Gonick, Vice President for Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer at Case Western Reserve University, is a tour de force.  Lev covers a wide range of topics in discussing the top 10 IT trends for the coming year and says:

“The year ahead will remain turbulent for universities and opportunistic for learners …The top 10 [IT] trends…will also afford those universities and colleges committed to reinvigoration an opportunity to leverage technology to advance university mission and the pursuit and re-dedication to relevance in the year ahead and well beyond.”
