I think that’s just output from the successful run, and the subsequent run attempt doesn’t appear at all. Could they enable the developer tools in IE (my vague meanderings around the internet imply it’s available via F12), and give the _javascript_ output? I’m thinking there may be a _javascript_ crash or something.

Cheers,
Aaron

On some Macs, with Java 8 update 45, can't run the Java style, we get:

"Selected plugin was not loaded properly”

Have all the numerous security dialogs been okayed? Java can get into a weird state where the browser says “there’s a plugin”, but the plugin can’t actually run.

Yes and here's a copy/paste from the console on this -

I put an exception in on the java control panel to allow the host, still getting:  Selected plugin was not loaded properly. Make sure that you have proper plugin installed, and that it is not being blocked by your browser.

One user is reporting on Windows 7 latest Java -

With java, if I try to Test Again, it hangs at “preparing your tests…”.

I’m not positive how to load it, but is there any way to get the Java console, and the _javascript_ console output for this?

I'll have that user try that and I'll get back to you on that.

Using java 1.7.x and firefox 37.0.2
Looks like the buttons at the bottom are covered up for me.
Same occurs with IE10.

<image001.png>

The idea is that you don’t interact with the Applet directly, just the GUI. The reason there’s a bar on the bottom is so that folks who have a plugin blocker can click on the Applet if need be.

On the previous versions of NDT we would have our users send us screen shots of the Statistics and more details windows, which would help.  With the buttons blocked that's not possible now.

Cheers,
Aaron

Chris,

I'm not able to get the java version to work.  I get the message "Selected
plugin was not loaded properly".  I get this on both of my Mac's running
java 8 update 45.  Is this a known issue or is there a work around?

Thanks,
Jerry
