I have a question for anyone watching this thread:

Has anyone ever recorded results from NDT between two 10 gig capable servers or client/server which gives results of close to 10 gigs in both directions as a baseline?

Or are we encountering some type of limitation of the software?

I asked the same questions, and posted the same type of data a while ago to this list but I am still facing the same issues you are.

My iperf results always get over 9 gigs both ways, but NDT server-to-client is always around 2 gigs or less.

Sincerely,
Nat

Since it's happening only on the server -> client side, my guess is
that its related to NDT taking web100 snapshots. My recollection is
that the default is to check every 5ms. Try editing /etc/sysconfig/ndt
and adding --snapdelay 25 to the WEB100SRV_OPTIONS line, and then
restart NDT. This will back off that snapshotting so that it occurs
every 25ms. Now, I'm not positive how that might affect some peak
calculations, but it can't hurt to try.

Ok, I tried that, and I got the same result.
