Your log of steps shows you downloading kernel 2.6.37, but then you appear to work on 2.6.35. I just pulled:
wget http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.35.tar.gz
and
cd linux-2.6.35
patch -p1 <../web100/web100-2.6.35-2.5.30-201008181640.patch
