Hello everyone,

First, sorry for my unexperience in NDT, that's why I'm needing help to figure out this problem.

I have compiled the web100 patch in the Kernel on a Slackware 13.1 machine:

"Linux 2.6.35-web100-smp #3 SMP Fri Oct 8 12:24:23 WEST 2010 i686 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5320 @ 1.86GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux"

I installed NDT and started it, did some testes from the web applet, and everything works just fine, until I test from a connection that doesn't have a resolv address, per example, 213-205-81-90.static.net.novis.pt , that doesn't have a resolv address, but has a reverse DNS:

#nslookup 213-205-81-90.static.net.novis.pt
** server can't find 213-205-81-90.static.net.novis.pt: NXDOMAIN

 #nslookup 213.205.81.90
90.81.205.213.in-addr.arpa name = 213-205-81-90.static.net.novis.pt.

I guessed it was a DNS problem, but it isnt, i contacted the ISP and they say it is intended to behave like that.
The problem is everytime I try to teste the connection from one of this IPs ndt fails to test the connection with the folowing error:

"pcap_compile failed 213-205-81-90.static.net.novis.pt"

but, if i put a line on /etc/hosts that corrects the address translation it simply works flawlessly.

Since I  need NDT to work on every connection, even this weird cases, is it possible in anyway to configure or modify (maybe modiyng I2util address abstraction API?) NDT in order to simply work on this cases?
