Hi Colby;
Thank you for this patch. The NDT project is an open source project and we encourage the community to support and extend this service. We'll pull the patch down and put it in the contrib directory. That way it will be available to the user community. It also allows us to note where the patch came from so we don't claim credit for others work.
We'll also look at applying this patch to the base code.

to set up fakewww to bind to an IP alias, but it did not seem to have that

check (which is ignored) in the code already.
Changes that are not related to getting in a separate IP address to bind to

not bound to any ethernet interface on the host.
