I have done this a few times on earlier
versions of RHEL and have had no problems
with what I suggest here.
Looked all the patches over. They should be
applied manually with an editor. The header
file errors are almost assuredly just the
result of RedHat back-porting a few extra items
to the lists of definitions. When editing in
the changes to the code, just make sure that
arguments to the added code are still avail-
able in the code to be modified. Thankfully
that's a very small, contained set of changes
to apply.
