For what use it is, we have been running ndt on an IBM P510 64 bit
PPC machine on SUSE 10.1 with the pf-ring kernel mods for high speed pcap
capture for quite a while now (unfortunatly the machine is off the network
right now so I can't currently point you to it) without problems other than
getting the kernel built correctly :-). We have been bit quite a few times
by 32 bit librarys so that may be something to look for (although it is
usually
a solid failure not intermittent that I remember).
