Yes, a fix for this problem is on my to-to list. Note that this doesn't effect the duplex mismatch detection, it just effects hosts that are properly configured and use half-duplex connections.

I was just noticing this behavior while testing on our local network. We're very interested in helping our customers self-diagnose duplex mismatch issues. Are there any plans to fix the half/full duplex detection algorithm?
