Sorry for not being clearer, the wireless card is in my laptop

When I run the test my laptop just sits there at running 10s inbound test
(server to client), nothing happens at all, but I soon as I pull my wireless
card out of the laptop the test completes

This indicates that the server is operating properly.  The email I sent a
few minutes ago should address the start-up problem (use the "-l" flag to
indicate that you want to move the log file to a new location).

Its not clear to me what you are saying here.  Which host has the wireless
card (the NDT server or the client)?  If it's the server then what interface
(wired or wireless) is primary (use the netstat -nr command)?
