There's a big difference between the userland for 2.6 kernels and for 3.X kernels. You'd probably want to keep both around in ndt too given the popularity of the former.

One thing to note: with the latest version of the Web10G userland (2.0.7) they have renamed ESTATS_LIST_FOREACH to list_for_each, primarily for licensing reasons. So you will need to be change any references in the ndt code if you are using the latest userland. I've been meaning to test this latest userland against older kernels to see if we can replace this in the code or still need to keep both versions, waiting until I've got some free time to do this.
