CHALLENGED WITH SUPPORTING AUTHENTICATION beyond the boundaries of your
local identity management system? Attend the CAMP workshop "Leveraging
Campus Authentication Across Boundaries," February 7-10 in Tempe,
Arizona, to learn more about the roles, methods, and requirements
involved. Among the topics to be addressed are:
* What is a federation and why should an institution join one?
* What are "levels of assurance" and how will they impact campuses?
* How can services be shared with an autonomous academic medical center
or research institute?
* What is the federal e-Authentication Initiative and how should your
campus prepare for it?
REGISTER BY JANUARY 6 to save money with early-bird rates.

DESIGNED FOR BOTH MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL STAFF
The workshop has been designed for those involved in supporting
enterprise authentication at the technical, management, and stakeholder
levels, with both management and technical tracks. Having a preexisting
familiarity with authentication and identity management is recommended.
If you attended the CAMP enterprise authentication workshop in November
2004 and are now considering inter-institutional relationships, you will
find this workshop helpful.
PRE-WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION TO IDENTITY MANAGEMENT
Unsure how all the parts of an identity management system fit together?
Find out before attending the workshop at this nontechnical seminar.
You'll hear about functional models for campus infrastructure and the
ways identity management interacts with campus technology, policy, and
business processes. PLEASE NOTE: Separate registration and fee are
required.
