Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Internet2 webinar "Deploying and Supporting Federations" to be held Tuesday, June 22 at 11 am EDT. Space is limited, so please register today at http://webinar.internet2.edu

Internet2 Webinars are "low-tech," 60 - 90 minute seminars on advanced networking topics designed primarily for Internet2 corporate members.  Although the content of the June 22 webinar will have a corporate focus, all Internet2 members are invited to participate.   With just a phone and web browser, members can attend this unique educational seminar and interact with the presenters.  Admission is free.

Federated administration has emerged as a promising new direction for inter-realm trust models, and companies from a diverse range of industries are investigating sector federations. Please join Ken Klingenstein, Internet2 Director of Middleware and Security, along with industry experts, for a discussion of real-world practices for deploying and supporting federations and approaches to addressing the challenges of federated administration. First speculations on inter-federation issues will also be shared.

Please pass this invitation on to others in your organization who might be interested in federations or middleware generally.
