If you want a non-moving target of opensaml2 work from TP2 
(http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/downloads/opensaml2/java/tp2/).  You will 
find that when the next release comes out you will need to make some 
changes, but you have to weigh that again the fact the OpenSaml2 is still 
being developed and so if you build from trunk you will occassionally hit 
some cases like this (which looks like "work in progress check back real 
soon").
