Are you using cvs, or the last actual release? If the latter, please pull
cvs, which also has the xmlsec 1.1 release in it. I think there are a number
of issues with using IBM's VM, starting with the need to get a supported JCE
provider like bouncycastle and drop it in, since the usual Sun JCE won't be
available.

This particular problem seems like an XML issue, perhaps, but rule out the
obvious first.
