OpenSAML user discussion

Hello all ,

I am very new to this SAML.I need all your help to get a start with this SAML.

I have done the ant dist&ant javadocs with a BUILD SUCCESSFUL msg.

I need to knw how to confirm that the product works fine.I want some stes to test the products.

Steps i followed are

$ mkdir $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/endorsed

$ cp <opensaml root>/java/lib/dom3-*.jar $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/endorsed

$ cd opensaml/java

$ ant dist

Whatz SAML?Is it a protocol stuff/a application?
