Winter 2011 Joint Techs Attendees

Thank you for registering for next week's Winter 2011 ESCC/Internet2 Joint Techs!

A few final logistical updates:

1) Those attending AFTERNOON tutorial sessions on Sunday should plan to eat lunch BEFORE arriving; there is one small facility nearby for food and it will be swamped by the 40 MPLS tutorial attendees!

2) Breakfast is included in hotel rates at both locations; no breakfast is served at the conference itself.

3) The busing schedule will be available at the Holiday Inn upon your arrival and posted online by Friday.

4) DINING ALERT: The James Martin Inn (restaurant, bar, etc.) is under-going refurbishment so please plan to eat dinner OFF-SITE; a list of area hotels is posted at: http://events.internet2.edu/2011/jt-clemson/ClemsonAreaRestaurants.pdf. In addition, they are opening a satellite bar in the hallway connecting the Auditorium to the hotel lobby from 5-10 pm Mon, Wed & Thurs; 4:30-10 on Tues.

5) AGENDA ALERT: Please note the EARLY START time for the Network Member & Connector BoF (5:30 pm) and the CHANGED DAY/TIME for the JET Meeting (Mon 7:15 pm).

6) On-line registration for tours is closed; however, folks can still sign up at the registration desk.

7) The call is out for Lightning Talks; please submit your proposals to by 2 pm on Tuesday, February 1 to be considered.
