All,
Researchers at the University of Wollongong, in partnership with AARnet and Smart Services CRC, have developed a fantastic new web-based application that combines an immersive virtual world environment with interactive desktop videoconferencing. It's called iSee. I've been working with Nick Cross from AARnet and Natalie Chapman from Smart Services CRC to pull together a small group from our Internet2 K-20 and SIG IVC community to demo the application and potentially participate in a pilot project to explore its uses in formal and informal education environments.
The demo will take place next Thursday 11/29 at 1pm PT, 2pm MT, 3pm CT, 4pm ET in the iSee virtual environment.
To participate please RSVP here http://goo.gl/36cIL by close of business on Tuesday 11/27. iSee staff will send login credentials and instructions on how to connect to iSee. Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone in your community as well.
Take a look at the following to learn more about iSee:

Thank you to AARNet, University of Wollongong, and Smart Services CRC for providing us with this opportunity to explore iSee!
Best Regards,
James
