Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is my pleasure to announce that Internet2 has added a new staff member to its international team. As of April 27th, Edward Moynihan has joined Internet2 as Program Coordinator, International Relations.
Edward has a well-rounded education in public policy, international relations and journalism. He recently completed Master's degrees in Public Policy and in History and International Studies from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in Albany, NY (University of Albany, State University of New York). Previously, Edward obtained an undergraduate degree in English/Journalism from the University of Delaware. Edward also was Project Assistant at the Center for Legislative Development (Albany/Washington, D.C.) where he had the opportunity to work with a number of important government organizations in Lebanon and the Middle East. Prior to that, Edward also worked at a variety of organizations, including the US National Center for Security and Preparedness, the Smithsonian and the NY State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Edward also had the opportunity to study abroad in London and Paris and also speaks French and Russian.
