Dear Colleagues:

The second call for presenting a poster session at the Fall 2002 Member 
Meeting in Los Angeles, October 27-30, is now available for 
response.  Information about the meeting can be found at 
<http://www.internet2.edu/activities/html/fall_02.html>

Poster sessions are a consciously low-tech forum for the exchange of 
information and ideas about collaborations, projects and works-in-progress. 
Stories are conveyed by the use of graphs, diagrams, pictures, data, and 
narrative text displayed on ~4' x 3' cork board. Participants informally 
discuss their presentations with meeting attendees during the staffed hours 
for poster sessions, usually breaks and mealtimes.

International MOU partners are very much encouraged to submit proposals for 
poster sessions. If your organization is interested in having one, please 
contact me <> as soon as possible but no later than 
Friday, 6 September 2002.

The following information will be needed if you are interested in a poster 
submission:
- Title
- Institution or organization name
- Brief abstract
- Contact name and email address

Space is limited; posters will be considered on the basis of the following 
criteria:
 * Degree of anticipated interaction and information sharing; session is 
designed to promote discussion among attendees and to advance work
* Relevance to advanced networking and advanced applications; those things 
that are not possible or reasonable to do with the commodity Internet
* Demonstration of the value of Internet2 to its members and International 
Partners and to research, teaching and learning

Tentatively, notifications will be sent by Monday September 16,2002; 
logistical information will be provided at that time
