Wednesday, June 25, 2008, “Our nation’s healthcare delivery system is in
crisis—with our nation’s rural areas feeling the most acute need,”
says Mike Miller, Juniper Vice President of Public Sector. “Soaring
medical costs, unaffordable travel expenses, and poor communications networks mean
increasingly poor healthcare for rural Americans. Increased broadband
access promises significant improvements to meet this crisis, if industry,
consortia and government can collaborate effectively.” The JRHCP provides information and resources to rural
healthcare pilot projects, telecom partners, and healthcare providers.
Juniper’s goal is to help RHCPP projects deliver the most effective
healthcare possible through fast, reliable, and secure network solutions.
