Hello Tuck,

You can adapt the following properties in grouper.properties:

group.attribute.validator.regex.0=^[a-zA-Z0-9-_.@]+$
group.attribute.validator.vetoMessage.0=The groupname does not respect the constraints

Note that an equivalent parameter to constrain stem IDs has been introduced in Grouper 2.5.31, see <https://todos.internet2.edu/browse/GRP-2872>

I'm curious if there any way I can block users from creating folder/group
names with special chars from Grouper UI.
These special chars are problematic for LDAP and I'd like to limit only to
"[A-Z][a-z][0-9]-".
