I didn't understand. It means I could have jumped from 2.3 to 2.5.33
with no 2.4 stop?

I haven't yet the configuration in db, can I embrace the 2.5 container
setup?

actually no, but I can explain it easily: it's a Tomcat issue, not a
grouper issue.

Against all odds, the 2.4 ui started and worked fine with tomcat6, so
I'm going to set this for later and go to the 2.5 upgrade path,
