Morning Chris,
A lot of our configs are assuming the old directory locations, we are using stack/services to place config files in the correct location. Would it make more sense to just remove grouper.apiBinary for the web side and just remove tomcat and grouper.ui/ws etc. from the daemon image? That would make migration easier and it consistent with how people who came from the installer remember the directory structure.

We are making some changes to the Grouper build/packaging for 2.5 in git master.
https://spaces.at.internet2.edu/display/Grouper/Grouper+packaging+strategy
e.g. we are getting rid of a bunch of dirs. In grouper/client for “ext”. i.e. an ancient extension framework that I don’t know of anyone using. If you have source that uses Grouper you can build that jar using the grouper jars and add that jar to the lib dir… you don’t need the “ext” dirs.
Let me know any comments.
Thanks Chris |
