Thanks for getting back to me, Bert!

I've successfully upgraded to 2.4.0 in our dev environment:
  • Converting sources.xml to sources.properties
  • Using the 2.4 PSPNG ldap adapter instead of vt-ldap
  • Putting CAS in front of grouper-ui
  • Putting tomcat behind apache httpd (via proxypass directives)
I'm hitting an issue while trying to run grouper-ui w/ Java 11 though; I'll send that in a new thread, since it is unrelated to the tarball 404.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

We're working to make sure 2.4 PSPNG covers the use cases that previously required PSP. Would it be possible for you to start your 2.4 upgrade with PSPNG and report any problems so we can get them addressed quickly? Please let me know if/how I can help.

If, for some reason, you can't migrate to PSPNG, then the 2.3 PSP jars would be the best starting place to start testing.

Hi All,

I'm beginning the update process from 2.3.0 to 2.4.0 and the link on the Grouper Downloads page to the grouper-psp-2.4.0 tarball is returning a 404.

I poked around a bit and couldn't find a working link.

Is PSP (vs PSPNG) still supported in Grouper 2.4.0? If so, anyone have a working link? Or is it safe to use the 2.3.0 psp jars in a 2.4.0 install?

Cheers,
Dan
