Still lurking, and couldn't pass this one up. Rummaging around on my 
laptop I see grouper 0.5.5, the first time it might have been possible 
to make something run, was released on Apr 10 2005. Little did we know 
that someone would actually pick that up and try to use it! Were you 
there at that time, Shilen? Grouper 0.6, which contained its first UI, 
was released on Sep 3 2005. We soon learned it was indeed in use at Duke.
