I know Chris has discussed in the past work going on for a real-time loader 
capability.

i poked around Jira and couldn’t find an obvious jira item indicating any 
active work and the wiki page doesn’t say which item and i didn’t find any 
jira item pointing to the wiki page.

I read the page - i thought there was an ability for SQL SELECT to persist 
looking for changes or to consult some table for changes in the DB - 
depending on the DB.  In LDAP, there is a V3 control for a persistent search. 
 I know 389 LDAP supports it.  I believe openldap does but have not tried to 
verify.  Wouldn’t these be useful approaches?

Anyway, a pointer the right Jira item would be appreciated and info about the 
future of this development is also appreciated.
