This is a very old version of Grouper (more than 6 years old, beyond what we currently support), I think your best bet is to upgrade to fix the problem.

 

There are a lot of logs muddled in there.  If you want to pursue finding this issue, can you turn off the tomcat, archive the logs, turn it on, access that page, and send the full STDOUT and grouper jog4j logs for that startup and interaction?  Note, to further hone in on it, you could temporarily remove the WS from the tomcat so we only see the UI logs, though that is up to you.  Alternatively you can just bring up another UI tomcat pointing to the same registry.  However, we cant really spend a lot of time on a version this old…

Thanks for the quick response.  Here is a screenshot.

 

Attached is the Catalina log from today. 

 

I believe we are running version 1.6, which we would like to update, but need to hopefully fix this issue first.  Not sure what patches are installed as I inherited this system.

Is there an error in the logs?  Include a screenshot.  Any other info would be great including the version and which patches are installed

Hi folks.

 

We are running an older version of grouper, but are testing newer versions.  In the meantime, I have an error cropping up with one folder. 

 

When I browse to the folder in the UI, the page is blank, instead of showing 30-40 groups that are in that folder.  I can search for all of these groups, but I can’t create a new group in that folder, since the interface is completely blank.  It’s only happening with this one folder. 

 

I can provide more information and logs if I know what will help troubleshoot.
