I think that is the problem.

When I tried again and edited grouper.hibernate.properties and
removed that line then I was able to make progress.

I verified that line is the problem when also using
grouperInstaller to upgrade the UI and WS. I found that same
line in grouper.hibernate.properties and needed to delete
before being able to make progress.

I will file a JIRA.

I am finding a new issue with the WS upgrade. I will send
another email about that.
