I think you need to configure grouperLoaderLdapGroupNameExpression, and maybe a grouper-loader.properties config:

 

loader.ldap.requireTopStemAsStemFromConfigGroup

Hi Chris,

 

I added LDAP_GROUP_LIST as type, and ldapGroups marker is able to load both, groups and members. However, Grouper UI is showing up groups under a different folder (called group) instead of ldapGroups(that has loader linked). Is there attribute configuration I need to add to load groups such as “customer-support” & “dev-support” under ldapGroups?

LDAP_SIMPLE will only load one group,  you need to get LDAP_GROUP_LIST working.  Change the config that you want with that one, and restart the loader, and see what happens in logs.  Delete members from group too.  Remind me what version of Grouper you have.

 

Here is an example of a SIMPLE on a public LDAP, want to play around with that one on a group list?

I tried LDAP_GROUP_LIST as type (last week), but the marker wasn't loading members. So, I tried LDAP_SIMPLE and people marker was loading members, but not groups.  

 

I tried both types, but only able to get LDAP_SIMPLE working partially.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the prompt reply. As per your guidance, I created a new group
marker called, “ldapGroups” and manually ran loader from Grouper UI using
“Run loader process to sync group”.

Where would I find “results/logs/members”? I looked for that throughout
grouper folder, but I couldn’t find it. So, I took a screenshot of a logs
from <GROUPER_HOME>/grouper.apiBinary-2.2.2/logs/grouper_error.log
