Chris,

It is basically when I attempt to upload a large file with a lot of members 
for a group using the New UI.
If there are several thousand members for a big group, the page time out and 
the transaction is aborted.  It means that for big groups I end up using GSH.

I'll try the setting you suggest.

Which page are you referring to, and is it the NewUI, LiteUI, or AdminUI?  
Maybe give me the URL without the domain name?  

If it’s the newUI you could try editing this in the grouperUi.js

    timeout: 180000,

If it helps could you open a jira to increase this and/or make it 
configurable?

for the Grouper UI?

We're seeing this quite often as well. It'd be nice to be able to increase 
the time to timeout.
