Hi,

Are you sure you're not running a really old version of Grouper – perhaps v1.4.2?

The stack trace in the logs seem to suggest that..

In any case, what does this give you?

select * from grouper_attributes where value='UMT:IT:TSS:CASCADE_FORM_DATA:DEPARTMENTS';

Hi Chris –

 

Here is the text from the Catalina.out log file for the last couple days.  The whole file is too large to email, so I just grabbed a few days worth. I restarted Tomcat yesterday, the 12th around noon.  I hope this helps. Let me know of any other log files that would be of assistance.  This is the main log file my colleague told me about.

Hi all. 

 

I am new to managing grouper, but have taken it over from our previous admin who retired last week. We had an issue crop up before he left that I’m trying to resolve.  I believe we are running v. 2.1.?   Not sure exactly which, but we are definitely not running 2.2.0. 

 

The issue is that for one folder, which has about 30 groups under it, we cannot see the groups when we click on it in the UI.  We can search by the folder’s name, and all 30 groups will show up.  In addition, admins are getting errors trying to manage that folder – for example, if we try to add a new group to that folder, we get the error.  This user got to the folder via “my memberships”  When I log in as admin, and click on the folder, I cannot see any options to manage it or add groups.   Basically, the Browse groups hierarchy page for that folder is blank, even when I “Act as admin.”

 

I apologize if this is a known issue and there is documentation on it  - I’ve been unsuccessful in trying find some.  Thanks for any help.
