Thanks. Backing out to patch 0 was the ticket to getting both ui patch 0 and 6 to work.

You can do this:

 

Backup the /apps/GMS/WEB-INF/grouperUi2/index/index.jsp

 

Copy the

 

/apps/grouper/grouper-2.2.1/patches/grouper_v2_2_1_ui_patch_6/old/files/WEB-INF/grouperUi2/index/index.jsp

 

On top of /apps/GMS/WEB-INF/grouperUi2/index/index.jsp

 

Then try to install the patch again… diff the backup with the new and put back in your manual edits

While trying to patch the 2.2.1 UI using the grouperInstaller.jar I get the following error:

 

Cannot apply patch since this patch file:

  /apps/grouper/grouper-2.2.1/patches/grouper_v2_2_1_ui_patch_6/old/files/WEB-INF/grouperUi2/index/index.jsp

  is not the same as what the patch expects:

  /apps/GMS/WEB-INF/grouperUi2/index/index.jsp

 

 

Originally I thought it was just a matter of having removed a couple of menu items (for the old admin UI) from index.jsp, but I put the file back to its original state. The error remains. What needs to be different? I see this error on both the UI patches 0 and 6.
