We keep a copy of the Grouper builds in our source control (its cvs, but doesn’t matter), and have a build script to put everything together.  Note, passwords arent in there.

Is anyone storing their grouper deployment inside a git repository?

We're just getting started, and before we go too far I'd like to track the changes to all the conf/ files and I was curious if anyone had any tips for doing this and tracking upgrades.

I was thinking of simply cloning of the repo and making my local commits, merging in upstream changes where necessary.

Any thoughts?
